Trace - Mutations (Illskills remix)
Paul B - You and me
The remix by illskills is my concept of what trancestep/trance'n'bass should be about. Although Paul B's tune is closer to ordinary drum'n'bass, it's one of the best tunes I've ever heard.
As for this tune from Björk, I feel it could be more energetic, either by being faster and more simple or by being just a tad bit more complex, making better use of Björk's vocals. Despite of this lack of energy, it's a good tune :) |

yeah that's because it's pretty proggy. but i heard it live this weekend and it was the tune that really got the party going.
Ill Skillz is just pure mint. |

These are both drum'n'bass remixes of Human, but to be honest, I don't like either of them. Usually I like drum'n'bass remixes of trance tunes but these two were a let-down I think.

yeah, but John B is not very stable and he likes to pioneer many things. I saw him spin December and he opened up with his TRANCE remix of Bad Company-Submarines, then played one track from the Trance n' bass mix, and then went off to play 3 hours of electro and 80s music. :wtf: |
