Me, my hubby and friend attend the show - came from Ottawa. Got there at 2am, the music at the beginning wasn't that exciting so we sat behind the DJ's booth and relaxed. Talked to alot of nice people and even a nice security person who worked there.
I was surprised that he was using a latop to play music and I saw him trying to hook his laptop into Aria's system while LaFleche was playing.
I didn't like the idea he was messing with the tracks- volume up and down, slowed down the track and put werid souds in the track. I enjoyed the set put was upset that he messed up a few good tunes. I was so happy he played Here is the House - Depeche Mode and Fallen Sarah :).
I danced the whole set, maybe sitting down for about 20 mins.
It was a fun night for me and I wish Dave was there.

Well here goes my opinion... The track selection was OK, many good tunes were weird remixes though...and damn...the best parts of many good songs were destroyed by Dj. Crowd was nice.
One more thing, after about 7:00 he started to play real trance???what was he waiting for? Should have started like that!
Overall this night was much worse(Trancewise) than Armins and Guy's. |

Here are my thoughts on this night.
First, I feel sorry for people that were not pleased with what was played because of the technicalities. I know it can destroy one's night.
The reasons why I kinda really enjoyed the night were because of the track selection which was really good and because I was as screwed as Grabriel was, LOL.:toothless
I didnt noticed as many glitches as you describe, so maybe that's why I had a blast (for a Saturday night). The lightning were great too.
And the crowd was friendly too, way more than last time I was around on Saturday. One more thing...I found the general sound to be a lot more louder than Friday nights. Do you know if it's a setting exclusive to house and prog nights, like Saturdays, or will it be kicking like this each nights from now on? Cause I really liked the boost of it.

he always played with the sound level and sometimes going in the red level ...such thing is not that good for the sound system
greg the sound man kept saying that he should not touch the master volume but i think he was too drunk
thats why sometimes the sound was that loud
i dont enjoy when its too high
sound system got better in the last months and its usually near perfection evry day |
