Hi there,
Getting the basics of creating that rolling bassline effect, but am struggling to find an effective synth for the lower frequency bassline (k-xx,k-xx,k-xx,k-xx) Hope you're getting what I mean, but most likely not. Not very gud at explaining thing.
Anyway, I was wondering what everyone else uses to create their basslines?:gsmile:
Anyone tried using the supermoog preset in the Kira bank for the z3ta+? Sounds pretty effective. |

I'm pretty much exclusively using the moog presets in Atmosphere these days. |

Kwl.
Heard a lot about the atmosphere, and was going to buy, but got put off by a couple of people saying its mainly used for pads, ambience & fx. Would rather spend the cash on a gud lead vsti.
How much did you get for sean? |

You can find it most places online these days for 350ish US I think. Etherium was saying you might even be able to get it for 325, but may want to ask him.
The Leads in atmosphere are incredible too, way better than any of the other VST synths I've played with. I've been able to replicate the leads in 1998 (Ronski Speed remix), Gamemaster (Michael Woods remix), G&M Proj - Sunday Afternoon, and many others with more or less complete accuracy. |

The Arturia Moog sim is fan-bloody-tastic for the basslines you guys need. It sounds so smooth and crisp. It's amost too damn good sometimes. I'll post a sample tomorrow.
The NI B-4 is cool too.. Hammond himself would probably be impressed.
And the FM-7. Wow, I love FM. Algorithm programming. Awesome. Nick Rhodes would be ecstatic. |

I like using real analog for the low end of my basslines. I would suggest picking up Trilogy. One, the bass samples are out of this world. Two, it's cheap in my opinon. Three, it makes a very nice lead synth, so I hear. Good luck. |
