This is a bit of a chill-out forum question but i don't want it to go there coz nobody has more than a 3 month memory.
I want you to post the single track that for you, and you alone, most sums up the EXPERIENCE of clubbing. So NOT your favourite track, not the most obscure or underrated track or one you'd like to hear live, but a track that is in keeping with what you look for in the experience, one that sums it up perfectly for you. Date isn't important here, to the track oe when you considered the experience t obe its best etc. |

For me its Kansai - Remember This Night
The lyrics are obvioulsy in tune with what i seek and recieve from a good nite out, the track builds and its rather an uplifting little number to boot. Its also, more or less, trance by numbers, which is something i feel happens a lot at most nites i go to.
but i must admit, tatester on that evening was marvelous weren't it. |

I was gonna say Vandit Night 19/12/03, because i heard so many calssic tunes, but because so many were played, the "specialness" of hearing just one was less, as i was not expecting so many.
but one moment that stands out is Crasher @ Passion.I cant remember who played, or what tune was being played, but during the breakdown, everyone had their eyes shut and their arms in the air, and the lasers were doing their "bubble" thing. it was nice :D |

Hmmm tuff call. I've not had much of a clubbing career so far, but what stands out the most was probably my first Vandit Night in Berlin ever on October 11th 2002. It was the first time I ever had the courage to just let myself go on the floor, and I was having the time of my life as PvD and Nick Warren delivered some of the most mindblowing tunes I can think of(You just can't beat Orbital - Chime as a set opener ).
Then, as I took some time to catch my breath and wipe the sweat from my forehead, it hit me like a 9mm slug that I was standing in the middle of what turned out to be a gigantic inferno of blasting strobes, smoke, pounding beats and over hundred bodies in motion to the music I loved more than anything on this world. Just as the sensation goes to the center of my brain, a giant ROOOOAAAAAAAAR comes bellowing out of the speakers as PvD punches in the bassline to Nitromethane - Time To Die (Seraque Remix), a tune I had been wanting to hear live for several months. The following scream that emerges from my throat and the rest of the crowd I will probably never forget as long as I live. I can't think of anything that stands more out for me so far. |
