What if you had this option?.......

Hey guys,
a lot of producers on this board know that proper mixing and mastering can make or brake a song. As much as you have to have good ideas, awesome sounds, melody and arrangement, you also have to be technically knowledgeable, experienced and possess proper tools to make the mix special. To achieve that clarity, space, punch and warmth in your productions, you would need a second set of ears to give a completely different and exciting perspective to your songs.
If you had a chance to have this kind of opportunity, for somebody else to properly mix and master your production, for a relatively low price in a convenient and fast way, would you send it?

if i knew that they provided good service even thou they have low price i probably would have done it if i needed it and it could be done in a good way since i guess you mean they aren't in the area of where you live...... probably :p

hmmm...i would do it if i knew that the person was really qualified for the job and could do something that i wasn't cappable of doing...

I second that. If this person had some insight or some earth-shattering mathods that were surefire, and I had a job.. I'd definitely give it(him) a try. Then I'n study "the out of it". Everything is duplicatable. ("duplicatable" is such a lame sounding word isn't it?)

Yes.

But i wonder how long it will take for the thread-starter to post his, or his friend's company-website :thepirate

Don't worry, I won't post my or my friend's company website, just doing my research.:)

I would not do that. If the song is good, your label to which you're signed will probably do professional mastering. ;)

I read most labels these days are so inundated with material that sounds pro, they wont even consider letting an unproven ameature go into a professional studio on their expense. If you don't know much about mastering - learn about it. If you have the time and patience to put a tune together that you care about, you shouldn't skimp on the presentation.
