Vmx-200 problems

| hi i have the behringer vmx-200 mixer, i seem to ahve a problem with the channel one phono channel, it basicly dosent produce any sound (or if so very little) is their any way to fix this and if not i cant rember what the waranty is on behringer products (i have had this for lest then 2 years) would they replace it thanks alot |

Silly question, I know, but have you tried swapping the channels the decks are plugged in to? Let's suppose the right deck is plugged into the channel #2 and the left deck is plugged into channel #1. Switch 'em and see if the problem moves to the channel #2. If it does, then the problem is either with the deck *or* the cable between it and the mixer. If the problem doesn't move, then the mixer is definitely suspect. |

Another thing you should check is the phono/line pushbutton switch below the Phono inputs on the back of the mixer.
The VMX-200 has a switch on the front of the mixer (above the channel gain knob) to switch between phono/line and line, and then the back of the mixer has a button to switch the phono/line jacks between phono and line level modes.
It could be that you managed to bump the switch on the back of the mixer. |

| lol im not a idiot iv checked all that, its teh channel and it was on the phone input. i dont know what the problem could be but yay hope that helps |
