So whats ur thoughts on this??link here
I was personally was abit surprised to see this.Correct me if Iam wrong but the Iranian government and British governemnt havent been this close since the the revolution in 1979.
So could all this be a sign of better relations in the future,both political and economical point of view?? |

it is important considering all the emphasis on it's neighbour iraq, that we maintain and improve relations with iran
they will probably want assurances that the developiing democratic state in iraq will continue to be guided and supported by countries such as the UK, for such a volatile situation is bound to have direct effects on neighbouring regions such as iran
i didnt read that article you linked to by the way so maybe i should otherwise this may all sound like bull |

no no u made a good points there,situation in Iraq does indeed effect Iran in some ways,but mostly political.I dont know if all this is for a good cause or it is just all another poilitical game,we'll just have to wait and see I guess. |

truly the only concern I have about such developments is that such attention gives the Iranian government more international legitimacy, and this legitmacy will make it harder for the Iranian people to bring their nation to democracy when they so chose. I mean imagine of Iran had relations with the West like Saudia Arabia has, the possibility of revolution is dramatically reduced. |

Ya I know what you are saying here.But maybe the Iranian government is finally realizing that there is something wrong with the system,and realizing that their days are coming to an end,and soon or later they'll have to face a revolution.So thats why they are trying to do some major changes with their foreign policies,and want to prove that they do want democracy there. |
