Well, even if she had x-ray vision it would not bounce x-rays off other people's bodies. It would use solar radiation. Your eyes don't act as a flashlight either.

Well, to do that she would need to have a different retina, most probably the cells that contain material which is not fully transparent for x-rays. Something along the lines of material used to take x-ray pictures of internal body parts.
But even if she is able to see to some degree of transparency, it doesn't have to be x-rays. It may be some other less energetic form of radiation. Remember that Sony camera that accidentally was able to see through clothes?
But I agree it's not very difficult to check out whether she's lying or not. |

A russian paper that want to sell as much as possible finds some wierdo that claims that she can see through things. They HAS been to the hospital, but the didn't take it seriously and sent her home without testing a lot (or a little :) ). So the reason "modern science" or "russian science" or whatever hasn't counterproofed is that it simply doesn't care.
If I saw it in a serious medicine paper or something it would have been a diffrent story.
At least that my view. But I imagine it could be handy in times. :)
Edit: Obviously they have not even interviewed someone at the hospital. Says a lot imo. |
