What's with all this "they're not running it at full capacity" hype? It's getting pretty lame. Why don't they just turn the f-ing system up and stop ing around!!
This isn't to bash you Pettiscool, it's to bash Boa!! |

I think it's a load of hype...
They want people to say "Oh! they've tweaked the sound! wow, how is that possible?! it was perfect! well, gotta go back and check it out..." |

| although I haven't been there yet to really comment (Scumfrog will be my 1st visit)...keep in mind that louder does not necessarily = better. Jeez, my ears were ringing for more than 2 days after UltraSpin 4!!! |

Furthermore, no club would have a grand opening with a subpar sound system.
I might believe if it was 85% ready when they opened, but 50%? Doubt it...no business owner has a grand opening with only half their together! |

well i personally cna't support a club that only allows 21+ crowd.
even after i turn 21, i won't step a foot in that club. |

| I think this is just a rumour of an original rumour. Its true that for the first party (Sander K) it was at about 75%. I heard they had it completely installed for the grand opening. Unless they've already upgraded their system (which is highly doubtful since it kicks the outta any other already), im guessing this info is false. |

| I thought Boa's sound system was pretty good. As good as Centro-Fly's for those who are in NYC. But it's really the vibe and layout of the club that really makes this place incredible to me. The acoustics are amazing because it was a form movie theatre so it has an amphitheatre shape. The club is also really nice and really friendly. I'd party there any day. :D The only thing this place lacks is a good light show. |

I was probably the biggest doubter of this place before it opened, due to fears it would simply be the arrogance that is Film Part II.
It isn't the case. The layout is simply amazing, and the system is fantastic. You can have a normal conversation standing beside the stacks.
The "only running @ less than 100% capacity" is simply a reflection of the crowds so far, as well as the DJs playing not a marketing tool.
They aren't measuring it in boom factor, since the crapiest sound system can make big ear-shattering booms, but in quality and clarity. If it gets any better, I think all those tracks will qualify as whole new sounds to me, even though I've heard them elsewhere.
Staff and ownership get friendlier by the week, as it is with any club, the regulars get the hugs and handshakes, so if you want to beter your Boa experience, GO OFTEN :gsmile: |
