Does anybody know what a full Phazon sound system costs? like the one at crobar miami. im not thinking of putting one in my room or anything, i was just wondering. i was thinkin maybe around $100,000 US, for a full audio system designed by them. does that sound about right? |

lol.... oh trust me. phazons give you a crazy bump in the chest. roxy in nyc has a phazon as well and i've been pvd/armin/tiesto/sasha there and every single time the sound sytem is always pumping. it feels like everythings rumbling espcially near the subs. phazon is awesome! |

Phazon does not produce speakers right? They design soundsystems, or at least thats what I got from there site (which is pretty bad IMO). I want to get into doing soundsystems maybe... looks like alot of fun. Wonder what components they use...
They claim to be able to provide the ability to speak to people next to you with out having to yell in there ears, does this still provide that oh-so satisfying bump in the chest tho? |
I don't know how they would do that but have you every noticed when you are at the club if you are speaking against the speaker's sound waves then it is hard for people to hear you but if you go with them they can here OK. Let me try that again, if you and I are standing in fron of this huge speaker, it is freaking loud and everything is pumping... if you have you back to the speaker facing me and I am facing you and the speaker, I can hear you better than you can here me. I have noticed this a couple times... either I am crazy or something is really going on here :D |

That is correct, Phazon doesnt actually build the speakers, they design sound systems.
As for the system at Roxy, to be honest, I think it blows, when I was there in November for PvD, my ears felt like they were bleeding from the fuzz that was coming out. Someone didnt prep the sound right and all the tracks were drowning. |

bleh... i liked it. i prefer more bass rather than more treble. cuz it feels good when i get a body massage from the speaker.:stongue: |

I like some good hard bass also, but that night at Roxy the bass was really fuzzed out and unclear. |

I have yet to be impressed w/ any Phazon system other than the one that was @ Twilo...
I Maybe they just got lucky w/ the Twilo system and are now riding that reputation...
Anyways the best system I've heard ever.... has to be Stereo in Montreal... nothing compares to their system...
compared to clubs I've been to in NY, Miami and Ibiza, Stereo beats them all!!!
So clear, so loud and no headache or ringing when you're done in the morning!!! |

They did a damn good job with the Phazon at Arc. The whole system there is tuned a lot better than the one at Roxy. It's not quite as bloated and sounds damn good almost everywhere on the dancefloor.
Plus my ears don't ring the next afternoon... although that could be from all the years of going out... :( |
