M.I.K.E. at top 100

Seeing myself at the top 100..?
Nice topic..and very funny to..
Why not..!what's the use..?who voting..?how is it counted..?
as you see..
being a producer doesn't mean you can dj!
being a dj..doesn't mean you can produce!
i was spinning long before i started to produce.
People who judging my dj skills are right..producing is better than dj'ing.
cause..
you got good days, and there are bad days..
also i'm very critical myself, sometimes i'm saying to Stefan "aah "the set was pretty boring, while others saying i was mint..and when i'm feeling doing the right thing..people or not giving me the credits i earn as a dj that nite.
So its giving and taking!
and never got regrets..never..
but what i'm trying to do when i spin is to educate and to feed people with possible new musical eras..
what is a dj?..
spinning someone eleses ideas to create some atmospheres and trying to create a musical overdose, with bombin' the place allover...
what i will do is next..while i'm dj'ing,i will play live synths and some drum phrases...and believe me..no liquid overdose needed
gotta go now..Ibiza is waiting..

what is a dj?

In most cases, a self-programmed jukebox. Unless the DJ cuts & pastes, loops, rewinds, plays one record on top of another, doesn't stick to beatmatching only, rehearses,..., he's just a jukebox.

It's a shame there aren't many true DJ's nowadays :(

The concept of DJing IS being a human jukebox. You get paid to play records that the audience likes, and if the audience doesn't like the tunes you carry or your perfomance, you won't be hired anymore. The real question is which DJs that manage to rise above that image, which takes a bit more creativity than mixing one record in after another.
