| This looks like a quality mixer and I've found some good deals on it . . . I know its a scratch mixer, but does anyone have any experience with it and would it be capable of trance applications? It has nice optical faders on both the cross and upfaders so it should have long life as well as clean sound. Just wanted to see if anyone had tried this thing out. . . |

| Unless Numark released some new scratch mixer with optical faders! Then I assume you are talking about the PPD01, with the 2 channels and multiple fader effects. If so then yeah I own that mixer and have had it about a year, I have taken it to live performances and have used and abused the sh** out of it. So the build quality is definetly good for a Numark. I've even put it next to my buddy James's DJM-600, and the only noticeable difference in sound between the 2 is the Numark I speak of has clearer digital sound, when you hook up a cdj-1000 up to it in comparison to the DJM-600 which has better analogue output. But all in all it's a great mixer that'll last through some abuse! |

nope, actually its been out for awhile.
I think Numark discontinued it for its new line of digital mixers but you can still find them at many places . . .

| Oh yeah I remember that one from awhile back, I last saw my work selling it about 4-5 months ago. I never used it myself, but considering I never heard any complaints from people that bought them, then I'd assume it's a pretty good mixer! |
