| yeh when you turn it on after a while it gives a kinda loud hummmming sound kinda like feed back, i have to turn it off for a while then back on to fix it but i keeps coming back. anyone have any ideas why it does this i figured it must be the heat or sumthing |

| Its probably the power supply at fault. The diodes in the rectifier have gone ty. The heat does have an effect on this since heat changes the properties if semiconductors. This would be a problem in the amplifier. Try the sub with another amp to make sure. |

this has happened to me also, there has only been 2 outcomes for me thus far.
1-its up too loud with a ty signal, i usually noticed this when spinning drum n bass and it was just too much for it to handle... but not necesarily a problem, just distortion.
2-the signal is being f-ed by the cables or wires. i used to little guage speaker wire one time when i brought my equipment to another place. it could only play the high's at really low volume or else the bass would just hum like the speaker was going to blow. i would think though, just make sure the speaker wire or rca signal wire is of a good enough guage for the power you're sending it. |
