CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.
MORE
A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!
In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]
The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Note - I got the 23-year-old part from a staffer I know on the Hill, where this has been going around since yesterday evening. The other piece of info I have is that Kerry sent her to France, where he has family connections. |

It can't be true! Drudge spews lies! LIES!!!:p
From a more serious standpoint, I predict that this presidential race will be quite possibly one of the ugliest in recent history and that mudslinging will hit new lows. Mark my words, it will get dirty. Dirrty even. |

Looks like Kerry's ed :D before the presidential race even begins.
It'll be interesting to see if anything comes out of this. If this were the rest of the world, I don't think an affair would be all that big of a deal. Us Americans on the other hands like to hang on to our "Christian" values, at least in our leaders. Might make it tough for Kerry. |

Clark knew about this - he alluded to it in a recent speech, but no one was quite sure what he meant. But the fact that Clark knew means he probably learned about it from the Clintons - his "inside" backers. Also, after Clark dropped out, Clinton called Edwards and told him to stay in the race.
What does all this mean? Clinton's trying to tank Kerry, because he doesn't want someone to run who might be able to win. That would screw up Hillary's run in 2008. |

So when are they going to release the White House Porn Extravagansa movie. I think it's about due; it's seems every second day there's some sexual scandal going on in Washington; they could call it Intern Invasion :haha:.
Why can't we have good sex scandal in Australian politics - it's so boring down here. |

I really, really hate that dumb bitch. Personally, as long as his banging chicks doesn't affect his ability to make national security decisions I couldn't care less. Although I do believe it would hurt his chances to win, so I hope either it's not true, or edwards gets the nomination.
All in all, I'll wait till it hits mainstream media before I believe it. Drudge is not the most objective of sources. |

True, but when it comes to sex scandals, he usually gets it right! :D
Further information: I just had another conversation with my friend. He clarified that the woman is not currently 23 years old, but she was 23 at the time of the affair. Apparently, whatever happened did not happen recently, as within the last couple of years.
BTW, I'm here in Madison, where Howard Dean is today. The press asked him what he knew about this, and I heard it on local radio. He simply stated, "I'm not touching that with a 10 foot pole. Next question." |

Until what? Drudge made up another story? ;)
It's not even worth reading.
Kerry was single for a while after he divorced his first wife, so he probably got around then. Good for him. :D |

Er, can you imagine John Howard embroiled in a sex scandal? I'm not sure what sort of kinky stuff he'd be into, but I can (unfortunately) picture him acting it out with his socks still on.... :nervous: |

I really don't see what's a big deal about a president screwing someone. It's not like he did anything harmful, so if he's still a capable leader, well, let him around all that he wants.
But really, maybe Bush winning is not that bad of a thing. The middle east will be cleared of dictators, the space program will recieve a new boost, and america will reach bankrupcy and lose it's sole superpower status. Go Bush! Such an altruist he is! :) |
