Generals Zero Hour is a good RTS... got to watch out for the noob bug exploiters though.

I hear u, luv the game but, was spending too much time playing it so banned myself, havent played a game in over 6 months. One thing I find annoying bout the game is to some extent it relies on memorization of opening moves and commonly played lines. Granted once you get past the opening then obviously skill will prevail. I've played the Sicilian for such a long time that i know pitfalls and weakness to expliot. This allows me "unfair" advantage and incourages me to play only openings i'm familiar with. Fisher recognized this pitfall of chess and devised a variation where 1st rank pieces are placed randomly to make it a game of skill rather than knowledge. |
