Impact - Painted Sky
A couple of great new trance stormers. The Audience Is Listening is more of a tech-trance track, while Painted sky is slightly more melodic, while still keeping that techy sound. A must buy!!

| Quality release, I'm partial to Painted Sky myself. It's been interesting to see Richard van Dongen's progress over the last few years on ITWT -- this is his sixth release on the Black Hole sublabel! |

The only other Impact tunes that I've heard are Hands Of Faith and No Way Out with Cor Fijneman, and I was a bit disappointed with them too, but these new releases are much better I think. I'll have to check out the others you've mentioned.

No, I'll have to check them out. I've heard Digital Voyeur now, and to be honest, I didn't think it was that bad. Not as good as the latest two, but still good.
I didn't realise there were so many Impact tunes. Has this guy been producing for ages?? Any remixes by him??

They're all worth looking for, really. I haven't heard Mistral - In My Dreams, but I like basically everything else he's produced although the style varies somewhat. His real name is Richard van Dongen and all his trance releases have been on Black Hole (ITWT, Songbird and CC being sub-labels of course). Great producer. |
