Oh yes, the melody is awesome. I simply love the beginning of it! This piece sounds very, very well composed. All you guys have to improve now is making that sound just a bit more professional.
A lot of guys achieve that thick pro-sound and get signed, but they never come up with a melody like this for example. |

I like this one, the melody is great :). Reminds me of some old trance tunes. Keep it up guys, nice work.

Hey, gotta ask you...
What did you use to produce this? I'm particularly interested in knowing what you used for the main synth sound... |

All done in fruityloops 3.56 with some VSTi plugins & custom samples.. the main lead synth is pro53 layered over two 3osc presets :)
And I'm working on the mastering... a guy I know wants the tune for a promo set so will probably put out an updated verion at some point with sharper sounds |

Great. There's quite a few people waiting for it here! :tongue2
By the way, I'd really love to hear Johann Gielen mix this one in his sets... |

| Hey, I just downloaded this song a couple days ago and I like it quite a bit! I think the melody's pretty nice, and the structure and variation of the song is good as well. Nice job. |

Sorry it took so long but I've finally gotten round to remastering this thing. :) ...for those who remembered it
http://terrafusion.artists.mpfsprom...com/kohaku2.mp3
It's basically the same only with a few samples changed, the kick & bass beefed up a bit, the whole thing compressed and EQd better so it sounds more powerful... etc
Comments appreciated as always :D .. and whoever said something about the tune being signed, it isn't :S .. yet anyway, hehe... I wanna stick it on a promo at some point but would rather get it perfect first :) |

Wow, this is some impressive stuff i'm hearing. Alot better then some of the uplifting out there.
Yeah, this is VERY impressive and it normally takes me a few listens to really enjoy a track but this is my first time i've heard it.
The only thing I dont like is(this may be tough for me to explain as i'm not a producer) how the initial melody (I guess you'd call it) starts at 1:23 and then doesn't come back into the track anymore. Maybe it just changed keys or something.
Anywho, great track and I hope it gets signed  |
