Last wednesday I bought my first TT's, a pair of Technics MK5. Also I bought two monitors (Tannoy Reveal) and the amplifier (Akyiama AP85). All 1460 €.
The thing is that I didn't have more money for buy the mixer and now I have my TT's at a room and I'm there looking the wonderful they are:tongue2 .
Well I wanted good stuff so I bought Technics and I thought to buy the DJM 500 mixer but atm I don't have enough money for buy the DJM500.
I want start to spin and maybe could be good buy a cheaper mixer (less than 100 €) and start to spin. Then in a few months I will can effort for a better mixer.
What do you think?¿ Any cheaper mixers suggestions?¿ |

how soon could you save up money for something better?
might be better to wait.
UNDER 100 euros!!! my god! :nervous:
Behringer VMX100 (as said before)
Numark DM-950
personaly i would go witht he cheaper numark one because the behringer has beat offset which you really dont wnt/need. so why pay for it? since the numark is cheaper then hopefully it means you could save up for a better mixer quicker :) |

I work partially time, and I earn too money each month but this month I have to pay the car insurance (600 €) and I can't effort for a mixer like DJM 500.
So at least I have to wait between 2 or 3 months after buy a better mixer. |

yeah i would definitly buy a cheapass mixer from like ebay or soemthing until i could get a better mixer. i would suggest, with your nice equipment, to go with something really good... djm-500 will not cut it in my opinion beucase they dont sound that good. my monitors are crappier than yours and i can even tell. especially with tannoys you will notice a huge difference. and juding from the things you picked out... you arent messing around. usually it doenst matter but you do have a good system so you should not allow one crucial part of your setup like a mixer to bring the quality down.
i have never heard a djm-600 but i suspect it will be ok. allen and heath is great but for now just start saving up. stop smoking/drinking/eating lol...and you may consider selling an organ : P |
