Marco V Last Night In Dallas 02-13-2004

Finally got to see mr. Marco V (Hrm, That rhymed.)
It was alot of fun, iv never been really keen on the Lizard Lounge, but it has come to grow on me. I arrived at about 9:50, because I was told that anyone in before 10 got in free. Guess who was mis-informed? SO I payed my $15.00 and went in. For the first 30-45 minutes, no one played and it was just cd's playing really horrible tracks. THEN finally, a DJ stepped onto the main area. He is the club resident "Johnny Funk" or some . He played 2 full hour's of cheesey trance/house tunes... but I guess you cant expect anything more from a dallas club resident (no offense).
All night was pretty much alot of harder trance, which I dont particularly like. At 1:00am Marco took the stage.
He opened with alot of real dirty techy housey tunes. I couldn't ID most of them, but I know he played :
Riva - Run Away, and Musix - Cyber Desire, within the first 3 tracks. Then followed some really cheesey saxaphone type song. BUT that was the only horrible track I heard.
After about 7 or so techstyle tracks, he broke into a small section of trance. With my "PLAY: MARCO V - I FEEL YOU (THOMAS DATT REMIX)" sign in hand, he gave me the thumb's up and about 2 tracks later, I heard it starting to mix in. I went nut's lol. After I Feel You, came a J00F track, but I couldn't recorgnise what it was, but it sounded like it had M.I.K.E. Influences, maybe another M.I.K.E. vs J00F? Then came a couple more epik trancer's and back into the HARD TECH. Alot of stuff I recognised from Dj Tiesto set's, I know he played:
Katana - Tribal Shock
Dj Ton TB - Electronic Malfunction (original mix)
Marco V - Echoes(V.ision remix)
some benni ban. tracks etc.
AND he told my gf he was going to close with Rock your Body, for her.. but didn't... He gave her the thumb's up and then... didn't play it lol. Either way, I had alot of fun.

haha, you should of informed her of the ness of RYBR and the fact marco wouldnt play it as long as there was a hole in his arse... |

i wasn't there because nobody wanted to go with me that night and i didn't feel like driving 30 minutes throught all that rain and snow to go to a ty club like the lizard lounge..
