Red Sox 4, Yankees 3
Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, man on first
3-2 to Alex Rodriguez...
Schilling throws the fastball to Rodriguez...Rodriguez launches it...it looks like that one's going to be...GONE!!! HOME RUN...and the YANKEES WI....WAIT A MINUTE! Ramirez has it!! Manny Ramirez dives over the wall and makes a SPECTACULAR catch, and the Red Sox are going to the World Series!

ummm... there's two flaws with that. if the sox win the AL east then THEY will have homefield advantage and thus game 7 will be at fenway.
second... manny ramirez can't make a play like that. and even if he could, he wouldn't. :crazy:
as for this trade... it's the worst thing to happen to baseball since rodriguez signed that contract. however, this does make the yankees future VERRRRY funny. they have relatively no prospects to trade anymore. so their pretty much stuck signing free agents every year. eventually it will catch up. and we will all laugh. especially me. |

I'm a huge Yanks fan so I can't talk trash, but they are pretty much signing the check for another World Series. For the Yankee's making to the series isn't enough, if you dont win fingers start getting cut off. :D |

| I don't see why boston is so mad,they have the second highest payroll in baseball, and they tried to get AROD while all the other teams coud'nt even match the offer.To the rest of the major league other than the yankees the Red Sox were the "evil empire".I ve been a Marlins fan since the start and the Marlins winning last year just comes to show that buying the best players dosn't always mean a championship.My 2nd fave team are the cardinals,they lost alot of talent from last year,dosn't look good going into the season,lets see what happens. |
