Superb set by Marco V, at least what I caught of it - I came in at around 2:20 am, so I missed the first hour or so, and he played til 5 am.
Here are the few tunes that I recognized:
Marco V - C:\del*mp3
Katana - Body Shock
Airscape - Sosei
Underworld - Born Slippy
Place got even more packed after Marco V finished. I guess SF doesn't necessarily need JP to draw a crowd. :p
I didn't see as many people in their PJ's/undies as I thought there would be, but there was still quite a few.
Music ended and club closed a few minutes after noon.
Strange that I didn't see anyone I knew. |

damn dan you're hardcore...two nights in a row...how do you do it??
anywho, it was awesome talking to Marco...i didnt realize that any marco v production is a joint effort with Benjamin Bates, and the same goes with Benjamin Bates productions...so benjamin's last single (i believe is One by One) is done by both Marco & Benjamin!!
i left at 3 for Barbara...but up until then Marco made a very smooth transition from the previous DJs housy style to the stupid sick tech-trance that marco is known for... |

Man I got the privelage to pick him up and take him around Dallas on friday. He almost couldn't make it out of here because we got stuck at the airport do to all the snow and ice that was falling in TEXAS  :stongue: .
So anyways, really REALLY nice guy, awesome set he played here in Dallas! Towards the end the crowd went nuts for all the tech stuff..
I really wish he could've stayed longer, but hopefully we can have him back again real soon!! :D |

I got in about 2:00, and left at 6:30
Marco was great, but it just seems like people aren't really appreciative at SF of a great international DJ. As much as it pains me to say it, SF (even at 6am, when the 6am rush came in) was only 1/2 as packed as it was but just a few months ago.
I remember when it was 6am, and you couldn't walk on any level. |

yeah it was so empty and most people didn't know Marco V.
highlight of the night for me:
that mysterious track "Fairlight Distriction"(not real title) that Tiesto has been spinning for the past 5 months, but a crazy Marco V-ish tech trance remix.
in general the set was not that impressive, but it was mostly the crowd's fault because there was like no vibe there. anyhow, had a good time regardless... |

I also believed he did his remix of PVD - connected. NOT 100% sure though. |

| i dont really think the whole soundfactory crowd is too concerned with who or what music is being played just that something is coming through the speakers. |
