I have an odd problem with folders. I double click on any folder on my desktop and in automatically opens up the Windows search fuction and not the actual folder to view. Any ideas???

it could be caused by the shift-lock or something like that. I remember similar stuff happened to me few times already. Do u have wireless keyboard by any chance?
I would just hit shift or alt or ctrl numerous times and believe it or not but that's how i fixed it. Rebooting doesn't hurt either.
Try it. If it doesn't work then maybe someone else will help u out. |

thnx for the reply. I do have a wireless keyboard, and did what you tried and still no luck. Any more ideas??
