Now you know you have all been at that status, trying to find ways to "fit in" as much as possible. This is a crucial step to that coveted social status. You know the one where you can tell your grandmother and grandfather just how "cool" you really are, and just how well you have passed on the family lineage of "coolness" by being able to "fit in" to that status quo of social acceptance on dance forums. "You need not worry, grandma", you say, "I will not tarnish our name on this day, nor any day for that matter. I have risen to the level of 'coolness' by posting on a website known as Tranceaddict. I believe I finally 'fit in'. I think I 'fit in' quite well there. Your legacy lives on grandma."
Of course, you might have also been posting just to increase your post count in order to "up" your status. No one wants to be a "tranceaddict in training" for very long. I mean, it's like having training wheels on your supped up Honda Civic, you know that one you decided to buy 90” back tires for and borrowed a 2’4” from your dad to use as a 3-ft. high spoiler. It’s like having your mother spoon feed you sloppy joes and raw onions at the dinner table in front of your first date whom you can’t wait to get into the sack with. It’s like having that needless thingy called a “parachute” while jumping out of a plane. IOW, it’s just a f$cking burden that you just can’t wait to tear off, run away from, and easily discard as soon as f$cking possible. You desire for something better. You absolutely OBSESS for more in your life. That ever-so yearning for the salt lick that you just can’t quite lick seems so far away…..
But you have to try, damnit. You simply must put one foot in front of the next. Your longing, your undying need to reach the coveted status of calling yourself whatever the f$ck you want to call yourself has to start somewhere. The quest cannot begin unless you put yourself in motion. You must accumulate, and FAST! You must be someone. Hurry, time is of the absolute essence. You never know when you may not post again. There’s only so much time in your life. Get the f$ck going now, son! Move it, sister! Post! Post as much as you can! Never stop! Screw the bathroom breaks! We all piss in our pants here. Call in for pizza, call in for Chinese, anything that delivers. You have a job to do here. And if you aren’t a freaking like we may judge you to be, you’ll continue posting until you’ve reached that unreachable, distant goal. You must call yourself something. “What the hell should I call myself,” you may wonder as you continually post, wishfully thinking what it will be like once you reach that goal ever-so far away. Well stop thinking about that! Get your damn head out of the clouds and see the damn ground in front of you. Be in the present, TIT. Be one with the computer, TIT. You will get there. I promise you, TIT.
