I currently have yet to come up with a DJ "name" that I like.
Currently I am DJ Lazii, due to the fact that there is a break beat DJ out in Vancouver with the alias "DJ Lazy", and I don't want to copy or steal his name so in the meantime it is Lazii with 2 i's.
I was thinking of using the name "DJ Tiesto"... :conf: has that been taken already ???? :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: |

yeah tiesto would be a good name. as far as i know there aint a dj with that name :p
edit* i cant really use dukes coz there is an artist called "the dukes" and ive always thought dukes is a bit plain whereas dj dukes sounds better i think?!?!? |

| When I started spinning I used to tell the promoter's to list it just as Hypnotiq, as my Dj. name on the flyers. But they started putting Dj. in front of it and so I just started going by DJ. Hypnotiq about 6 months ago! I really don't care for the Dj. prefix though, cause I thought it was fine the way it was. |

Someday I'll put DJ in front of it but until I'm a real DJ. I mean most of the people think that they are DJs only cuz they have a pair of Turntables in their room which in my opinion totally WRONG . You become a DJ the day you play in front of people, not in front of a wall in your bedroom .

just kidding, I say the same exact thing. People would ask for my name before I was djin live and I woudl say my real name....now that I have played out, I can finally say its Boomer. |

mine is half my first name, and half my last name. I had to pick something, and i didn't want it to be something that didn't represent me. I also didn't want it to represent the style of music i spin, as that might not neccesarily be the same forever.
I dislike having the DJ in front of it, because I hope to eventually produce as well. |
