| Why so little attention towards this album? Was it even released outside of Japan? |

| it wasn't officially released outside of japan, but it can be found on import for a load of money...alot of the tracks on it were made for the 'unique' tastes of the japanese market.. |

no, is she Japanese?
I've always wondered....TA is such an international community, we have members from every hemisphere and from even remote third world countries. if trance is so big in Japan, where are the Japanese TAs?? and when I say Japanese TAs, I mean TAs that actually live and go out in Japan....are there any? |

Whats w/ Ferry's obsession w/ Japan n-e-ways??????? |
its not his obsession, its the Japanese obsession with trance in general, synthesized trance that is... dance music is very commercialized in Japan, and take in how trance sounds very very similar to music in videogames, its only natural to see how its so popular here...
the popularity doesnt end with just the youth either... its popularity is among ALL ages in Japan... if you go to places like Pachinko parlors, you can hear trance or other high fast-paced techno being played...
it doesnt stop there either... Ferry, AnB, Johan Gielen, PUSH, and some others (not forgetting Yoji either) are all under the Avex label... because of that, all their music (on those albums) are licensed to Japanese TV channels... when you watch the news (esp. sports news) thats all you hear in the background, their songs...
now, that System F album, i will say right now, was a contract obligation that Ferry HAD to make... it is not something he wanted to make...
he has a new album which i highly recommend, under his real name... im sure its probly been posted numerous times already... its also under the Avex label too... ive never been a fan of his System F stuff, but his self-name stuff has a lot of oldskool style electro, he blends it with his synthesized stuff real well...
in case people are wondering why Avex albums arent sold internationally, its because most other countries do not have the same copy protection guidlines that Japan now has, which was developed under Avex... its that stupid CCCD protection thing, not to be confused with the old one where you could just use a black marker and cover the copyprotection... |

That album sounds like something he slapped together in 5 minutes. All the tunes are simple, cheesy and use the exact same synth presets.
It's one of the worst trance albums I've ever heard. You're lucky not to have heard it. |
