you can go and kiss my ass.
just downloaded a file that had some W32-Pate.b worm on it. In a mater of half an hour a quarter of my .exe files wont load because of the error it is causing.
I dont have anti-virus software installed, dont tell me i should, i know i should there are heaps of free ones availible on the net. I will figure this out somehow.
what angers me is the geeks out there go out of there way to create these highly annoying things.
WHY i ask?

What are you, a ing moron? I know for certain thats utter bull. The reason Windows is targeted for so many viruses is because a) its the most popular OS out there BY FAR, and thus is a much juicer target for virus writers, and b) because Microsoft does a ty job patching the many security holes and exploits in it.
I doubt malicious people are writing windows viruses to try and get people to use unix/linux/mac os/whatever. Even on the off chance that one or two might be, their actions do not speak for the rest of the community. Would you go on Oprah or Dateline or whatever and speak out about the dangers of raves because some idiots O.D.'ed at them? Or would you go join the KKK because a black person broke into your house? Get your head out of your ass... |

just format.
then partition your hard drive such that only windows and a few programs are on c:.
then it is less of a loss to format every other week when you download one of these.
and I say again. You need to find better pr0n sites. |

What the! HEY! how'd you know!?
heh heh ok solved the problem:
turned off 'system restore'
downloaded some Panda anti-virus program, did system scan and memory scan: 412 files infected!!!!! luckily all were repaired.
rebooted, then turned back on system restore.
So far so good.....but even after reparing i still find myself asking.....WHY the hell do people create these things......WHY....WHY....WHY??? |
