| Just a brief Note to the Real Mind X: I know the Swiss Trance Scene very well, becaue I live at the Swiss Border (to Basle) but my home is in Germany ! Sorry to say that but the Scene over there is really really Commercial, especially the Trance Scene. When you go to a Rave you have always the same Names on the LineUp: Snowman, Mind X, DJ Energy, Tatana, Energy, Dream and so on...And I promis you, no one of the above mentioned DJ's are good (Mixes and Sound Style) !! The Scene was ok in the beginning (92/93) but then the new DJ's sucked and no more Talents arrived. So if you go to a Swiss Rave take a look on the Lineup and you know what I mean. Sometimes they try to save the Party with one or two known names (Mauro Picotto, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Lauren Garnier and so on...) but this doesn't help at all to save the Trance Scene over there. For example Germany: they also have many bad DJ's (I think like in all countries) but there are still some Legends who are very good: Andry Nalin,Paul van Dyk,Hardy Heller[HH]or finally Mario de Bellis (Very good DJ also known in USA and Ibiza (Space) for his Powerful Mixing Skills and his Tech/Trance/ Hardtrance Tunes -in fact my Recommendation to you, if you see him somewhere on a LineUp, go to see him Spin !!). Ok I have to come back to the Real Point of my Thread...You think that Mind X produced himself all the known Tunes, for sure not, there are some heads behind him (he's also in Cooperation with some German Trance Labels) who produce for him !! If you listen to his Mixing Skills and the Sound he Spins, you have to recognize that this Man is nothing Special at all....Cheers DJelloun |

Swiss is a small country and so is Holland, but here the Trance scene is 20x bigger than in Swiss. Every month there is a party here with all the top-dj's from al over the world. I've been to Sensation (Ajax Stadion, 48.000 people), Innercity (RAI Amsterdam, 25.000 people) Trance Energy 30-09-00(Heerenveen, 25.000 people) & next month the 17th of Februari again to Trance Energy in Utrecht.

Nice line-up, but it could be better. Last Trance Energy had a better line-up. But Hé, it's going to be great!!

Yeah you Dutch people have all the luck,back here (in belgium),we don't have such great events,yes they tryed with innercity,but it was more techno(its' great to but I still prefer trance),and teh line-up wasn't so great!
And when someone like Ferry Corsten comes to a club(like he did last month in the 'zillion'),you hear it tha day after he went!!!!!:(
So I always have to move my but to holland,but no-one that I know wants to go,so I'm stuck here!DAMN
