| I'm at Concordia (although on hiatus in Vancouver until September) and I haven't ever seen anyone promoting for Aria... I think it would be an awesome idea. They have people promoting for other clubs either close to the school or out on Ste-Catherine's, but that doesn't capture a huge market of Univeristy students necessarily.. I think it would be a great idea to find someone to flyer outside or in the school on the fly :) |

I go to HEC and I've never seen anyone promoting Aria here. It would be a pretty good idea, we get little flyers from other clubs, but nothing wich gets our attention really. If you do promote in schools make sure people understand it's a after hours to get the attention of newbies.
Oh and it's a huge market!!! |

| Well if you could do some kind of a promotion to specific university's on night's when they have party's, I know we have a few every session. So that people could go to Aria after... I'm sure that would work very nicely |

go to UQAM, its where you'll find the most people willing to go.
From all the univerisites, I think its the one most open minded.
Go during the day, try the PK building on Ontario and Jeanne Mance. |

What makes you think they'll be interested in going since nothing gets their attention, as you said???
I go to Concordia and in the morning classrooms, there are often VIP passes on the tables. Well most of them gets tossed on the floor, but since I'm a clubber sometimes I take a look at them and wonder whether I should check out the party.
Flyers is an old marketing tool, it works...but not everywhere most University students are over 18 and have been to many clubs, they know what they like. Also, since all students are so used to the flyers, they throw them in the garbage.
GEGEPs are probably better, cuz kids are curious about afterhours and whole clubbing thing. |

Question de temps aussi.

Morales right! many University students are too busy. CEGEP kids, less. However, at times like spring break and long week-ends, it would be a good Idea to promote on campus. On those days(fridays), before Spring break and before long week-ends students are so pumped for partying...they will more probably try afters...
Hint: Next week is Spring Break for MgGill, Concordia and I guess UdeM |
