one local band..ha
I mainly followed death metal and met the likes of, cannibal corpse, morbid angel, Gorgasm, Saprogenic, Incantation, Immolation, and Ball Torture...
along with countless hardcore, punk, and indy bands around detroit.....and a few punk type bands out of LA.
and I knwo that none of them do E.

when i got stoned i listened to pretty much anything and still enjoyed it, apart from hip hop/rnb and rap
i refuse to enjoy that under the influence of any drug.
but i dont smoke drugs anymore so im back onto my metal/rock
trance dont float my boat much now. |

youre gonna have to be more specific when you say rock. rock can incorporate anything from Rolling Stones and U2 to Dying Fetus and Old Man's Child.

its not hard at all when youre used to it. i find listening to death/metalcore/gothenburg/extreme black no more hard than listening to edm when i sleep. i can listen to Solar Stone's ambient songs and then put in a Cannibal Corpse cd five minutes later. |

| I chill with a couple rock semi-stars, and when I'm with the doing stuff we're rocking!...if you catch my drift. Beer booze and pot mostly. But when the night is coming to an end that's when tracks like "You're revolution" by Funeral For a Friend (good track if you like rock) or other acoustic stuff comes into the playlist as we ride the wave down. Particular favorite of mine for that scenario at the moment is "Punk goes acoustic" a complete cd of Punk songs sang beautifully accompanied by acoustic guitars. Always been my favorite comedown music. Even after listen to trance. |
