well..just got few vinyls
now one vinyl (critical 7 lost pesh remix) make the needle skip right on the last 30-40 sec of the track, when i take a good look @ the vinyl i dont see a damn scratch on it so it looks kinda weird, but i did tried to play the vinyl on both of my turntable and same happend
i guess the 12" is f***ed up?
vswede
maybe try putting a little less weight?
clubsolutely
tried that.......any other solution or should i take this back to juno ?

Ive had some of those, that just jumps when its seems there is no scratch. In 9/10 it works (well for me it does) adding MUCH pressure on the needle, like 4 grams or so, and try to run through that area where it skips again.. that should clear it up, and the skip shouldnt be there when you play with less weight on the needle

could be a bad pressing..

has it always been like this or has it just recently began?
clubsolutely
its first time ever....
trancinchink
yea, that just happened to my pressing of rah - glow. the strange thing is, it only does that skip when i use stanton al-500's. but i played that record on my shure whitelabels and it didn't skip at all. not really sure whats up.

I agree. I have a vinyl that skips in the same place, no matter how much wieght I use. All the other cuts are fine but its just in the this one place. Most likely its the pressing, it sux but it does happen and can definitly ruin your day!

i guess the best way to solve this is just to order another copy..

The record labels should hire somebody to listen through each and every single vinyl they press before they're shipped out to stores, retailers and whatever :D
