I came to trance from wot he calls the EBM genre of stuff like F242 and FLA and thru the 80's downbeat genres that include the likes of Tangerine Dream and very early Delerium. And he's got that path of progression just about right, thru Goa and . |

:haha: :stongue: hahahaha!! i actually think this is comedy and must have missed it when posted a while back! Love what he says about the 'not trance'! I ing hate rank 1 - airwave (and i know everyone thinks i am really weird for that)and he sorta sums that tune up so well for me:
Let it be said that electronic music NEVER learns how to "leave the audience wanting more". Instead, like a spoiled, immature little child, it shamelessly and greedily exploits any whiff of success it sees, to cartoonish extremes. Case in point: this. Yeah, I know. It sounds like a really bad and corny Hollywood love scene, doesn't it?
i have nothing against dutch trance btw. sorry, just felt like adding my point here, i shall go back to writing my dissertation :( |
