Do any of you guy's know of any sites that have classical pieces and printable notes for piano?
alanzo
get a MIDI file that you want to get the sheet music for and download a demo of Sonar.. then go to the Staff view and print it.. there u go, pro quality music sheet..

as for the MIDI.. try google..
midaV
Not a bad idea at all, is there any other programs other than soundforge?
alanzo
what? sound forge is for hard disk recording and mastering.. Sonar is production software.. it has VSTi support and all that other fun stuff.. I like Cubase SX better myself, but Sonar is GREAT for composing scores and stuff like that..
midaV
my bad i meant to say sonar lol:toothless

btw i cant get the notes to showw in the staff view... it just shows a blank white screen when i choose the staff view..
alanzo
when you want to look at the staff view click on the track and it should be highlighted.. then click on the staff view button...
midaV
ya i did that but it shows the notes as DOTS on the bottom in a red section?
alanzo
you sure you clicked on the right thing? it should show a staff whether or not there were notes in the piece... click on the track and go to view-staff view
midaV
Damn i guess mines messed up it doesnt show staff at all :conf:

alanzo
maybe it's a limitation of the demo? but there are a lot more freeware programs out there that will show you an even better staff.. go to download.com and search for MIDI or something along those lines...
midaV
