ok ive had this problem for a while and its getting really frustrating, i want to use it but since it sounds like when i play it first.

Since i cant upload a sample i have to explain it, if i for example use the rank1 - airwave melody in the sequencer where i have the sp8 it sounds like if theres a filter over it for the first few secs, it sounds really bad, ive gone thru all the presets and they sound worse than the other, ive been experimenting with the knobs and i cant hear any big difference.

Anyone else had this problem :(

:intressting fact's:
this have actually been asked here before

hehe ;)

but anyway.. your problem should be in the "depth" thingie down at the LFO's i think it is... drag it to the left.. should fix it
Crash
been there done that

but thanks anyway

tried increasing the filter cutoff?

this isnt a setting problem, its a problem in the vsti, its the same in the commercial versions too, its something about the vsti initialising. It should be ok when in the middle of a track but its when you have the vst going from the start it causes problems, you could try having a muted note for a couple of seconds, then unmute it and start the sequence. Thats the only way round it i can think of...

And your right... it is damn annoying

I can beat that!

I use Project5 and when I open Superwave P8 sometimes the leads like patch #3 (Superlead 3 I think its called) will kill off all the drum sounds in the percussion synth.

Now THATS annoying!:eyes:

think when i used the fruity, i fixed that problem, did something with the cutoff slides not sure..forgot sorry.
hey cheggy
Well if it's not the filter attack and filter modulation amount, which sounds like it would be from you exlanation, then I would say its just a cheap program and that explains why its free.... too many bugs.

Not only these glitches, but it really doesn't sound all too hot compared to other VA synths (Pro53, Ninja, etc)

Ninja? so that's worth using eh?I downloaded that about two years ago and have used it all of about three times.

It's not very versatile (it's designed for basslines), but the synthesis is fairly crisp and clear.

Just downloaded some presets for it from patcharena, so gonna play with it again see what I can get out of it now. Cheers for the tip!
