Those of you with white labels..how do you have it set up on your techs? My is set up where the counter is almost all the way in..with no tracking force..
I wanna make sure I am doing it right.

after you balance the tonearm (attach the cartridge, remove the stylus cover, attach the counterweight, adjust it until the tonearm sits horizontally), without moving the counterweight, turn the counterweight's dial so that it reads zero. From then on, you don't touch the dial, just turn the counterweight itself to adjust tracking force. For whitelabels on a technics deck, for a DJ that doesn't scratch, 3 grams of tracking force is the correct amount. Then adjust the anti-skating setting to equal the tracking force (a setting of 3). The last step is to set up the height of the tone arm assembly, and having just installed a whitelabel in my MK5 yesterday, I found that to keep the tonearm horizontal when the cue level is all the way up, I needed to have the tone arm assembly as low as it could go. Have fun and feel free to ask questions :)

i actually.. have no anti-skating on, and i have the height set to 4 mm. i dunno if the height matters too much as long as you set the height FIRST before you calibrate the tonearm parallel to it.
