| Oh i just saw, you sold your virus to buy a nordlead 3. I know it's not any of my business but I think you should stick to one synth and just learn it inside out. Don't get caught up in the 'what's cool to have at the moment synth". Anyways, have fun with the nord3, it's really nice for pads. |

| reason i sold the jp 8000 is cuz i have an 8080 heh and i love the sounds of solar stone and thrillseekers so 8080 with the nord are a perfect pair |

I'm a big fan of the thrillseekers and pulser's sound also and I posted in another thread how they get that sound. I emailed them and this is what i posted

Message: Hey guys great work on Santa Cruz. I wonder if I can ask you a quick question, I noticed you have a UAD-1 card in your studio list. Do you use this card in your tracks. Is it worth getting? Any feedbackwould be appreciated. cheers

Ok Guys, I'll tell you cause I'm not greedy type. But in the future, little advice, don't wait for others to give you the answers, go out and ask. Most of the time producers will be very helpful, others time they aren't, but a few tips from pro's can really improve your productions. As for Pulser's sound, here is the email he sent me:
Trancenrg69:"Hey Andy, big fan of your work. I'm an amateur trance producer about to build a new studio. I heard alot of people talk about the Universal Audio UAD-1 Card. But I'm not sure it's good for trance music. I notice you have it in your studio list. Do you use this card alot, is it worth buying ? any reply would be much appreciated. cheers"
Pulser: "All I can say about the UAD-1 is that it’s what makes my tracks sound like they do. I use it all the time especially the Cambridge EQ, The Pultec EQ, The LA2a & 1176… in fact I use just about every plug-in it has. The Preflex plugin is great for crunching up claps. I would highly recommend it." |

| yeah its basically for compression and eq. It adds incredible warmth to tracks, especially drums and bass. |

I think you suffer from a psychological disorder called "Compulsive Hardware Synthdrome". You had your virus like 3 weeks. I'm not trying to put you down but you gotta stop mimicking what other producers have and start producing on your own. Ralphie b can make good trance on a labtop with reason and no hardware if he wanted. Pick 1 synth and learn the hell out of it. The virus is capable of any sound you can think of. If i had what you had I'd already have 5 released tunes. |

| i have the jp 8080 mastered already and have learned how to acheive the supersaw. i guess i didnt like the virus that much but i am gonna love the nord so heh and i sold the virus so i can buy a motu 828 mkii. its not that i didnt like it and im synth hopping. i needed the money and i wasnt gonna sell the jp 8080 to buy the motu. i can part with the virus now and use the nord lead 3 as a controller and the jp 8080 as a rack synth and the 828 mkii as my sound source. ill put up some pics of my setup soon |
