| Im considering going to bartending school... anyone know of any in NYC? And do you know approximately how much it is? I figure that probably the best possible job for someone looking for a friday, saturday and sunday job - plus Im a night owl. |

| theres always tons of ads in the paper check there. my friend took a class for like 250 i think it was but she makes a lot now so its def worth it once you find a job. |

| most places you have to be a waiter first, and then work your way up to a bartender. personally, i think spending that much money on bartending school is kind of a waste...you can easily just learn at work...or even buy a book! |

yeah dont waste your money on bartending school. i learned most of my stuff from working as a waitress.
if you want to look for quick money, look for a job as a waiter. that is your best bet. go to chain restaurant places, like fridays or something. they take people with no expierence, and are willing to train and you can make some good money doing that. |
