Where's all the great epic lately?

What I'm talking about is MASSIVE epic, with huge buildups. Tracks such as Rank 1 - Airwave, William Orbit - Barber's Adiago for Strings and Binary Finary - 1999...
The only track I've heard lately coming even close to those in scale is Fire & Ice - Souvenir de Chine
Is all the great epic drying out? I sure hope not! |

| I love epic trance. Maybe even more than all the other kinds of trance. As of late however it does seem as though epic is dying out. This is a sad sad time. I miss 99 =( |

nah... electronic music is about new sounds and idea's musically...it's just an evolution really...there are tons of epic tunes out there, I am sure you have not heard everyone of them. Anyways, I know what you mean though...there are lots of new epic tunes out there it's just there not as commercial anymore and not being played by the Big guys.....you just have to look harder now :) |
