anyways, guy also fails to realize why it was so important that the corvette was leading the Audi, they are in 2 different classes and thats why it is so huge. The Corvettes keep breaking down? GTS CHAMPS? now if that means your car is , ok i dont get it then... I am talking about a C5-R that had a damaged left side, that still went on TO WIN! Yes beat out everything including Audi the full 24 hours. Now where is your prescious Ferrari doing this? well he must be ahead of the Chevy but dammit it looks like the media and the race officials over looked him and handed the checkered flag to the Chev.
Now if u want to make your car all show and no go, go ahead and get your Honda stolen. My only point is that if you are overlooking American cars then you are overlookign a world competitor. That statement that was made was made in complete ignorance. Enzo errari made the same mistake back in the 60's when he decided not to partner with Ford for Le Mans, and what happened? I'll let you decide that one.
You mention that the Modena is slow, ya it is, but the Porsche GT3 isnt, and it still lost to a stock Ford GT. You also failed to notice the Skyline losing to the Z06, if you ask me thats the best car that japan has to offer. Came in looking at the corvette tails.

Out-accelerating Porsche 911s at the stoplights. Blowing away Mustang GTs and Camaro Z28s at the dragstrip. Dicing it out with a Maserati 3200GT at the track. Hardly incredible accomplishments in exotic supercars such as the Ferrari 360 Modena or Dodge Viper
WTF im confused since 911gt2 does 0-60 in 4 regular 911 dont arnt is same price as 360 modenas. 360 modena are badass looking and plenty have plenty of power. wtf for the most part american cars arnt even fast and have no comparison to Italian and German cars anyone who would buy a ford gt40 orver a 360 modena is a fool, the nismo is pretty damn tight too. OH btw mustangs lick balls cobras sound cool but ford still licks balls. |

Buy italian if you wana an over priced impossible to work on car. Buy american if u want a great bang for your dollar car. Corvette Z06, 55 thousand dollars. Ferrari 360 "modo" 165k Porsche 911 Turbo 116k Ford GT 130k Mercedes SL55 AMG 135k
Take your pick at what care you want, the corvette is the best choice for the money. Don't be fooled by a stupid horse on the badging. |

I have a Mercedes 450 SEL, I will be the first to acknowledge the German's Supercars. But i am also an American who loves American cars.
It might also help that i work at a Mercedes dealership as a tech, but hey anyone can do that right? |

**Well, if this makes any sense, it's good to be diversified because picking a car out means good taste. Also, if you want to fix your car up you can't just be hung over one type of producer.yea, that's cool do you get pissed when people turn you down? lol just wondering?! |

In my racing group there are all sorts of cars, we have a Viper, 2 Ferraris including an old 308 3 Supras a Skyline A Corvette Z06, numerous hondas 5 of which are in the 12's or lower, nissans, a bunch of muscle cars. And bikes too.
None of them are rice, non of them are show, they are all go. I like the go part not the show part, sure people do what they want to make their car look good. Thats good for them, just not my thing.
But when the Heinz guy put down that America cannot make a car, he showed pure ignorance... along the lines of saying all EDM lovers do drugs. I just said that about the mustang because japanese writing on a Ford makes no sense, and people around here do it w.o having anything worthy of being called fast done to their car. |

** Ok. That's cool, where do you guys race? Maybe Heinz just wasn't thinking. lol. highly doubtful, but I have to stick up for him. Also, my friend mike with the mustang, he's always stoned so God knows if he was stoned or not when he did it. Either way it doesn't matter.......like we both said diversified is good. |
