| the great white would be able to avoid all the crocs attacks but it probably wouldn't get a chance to bite the croc, and the croc has armoured skin to i say a dead heat |

| i would say the shark becasue its faster than the croc. the shark could just swim circles around the croc and then chomp it form the side or something. |

The shark would own his ass if it was in open water. They're built 100% for water, while crocs for land also. Shark has edge in speed and agility, and has it's own VERY impressive biting capacity. The croc's skin won't last forever, especially when it gets tired over time (if it lives that long).
And a well placed bite by the GW around the head would crush the croc no problem. Compare this to the croc: where in the hell would it bite the streamlined, contoured shape of the GW to truly be able to wound it?

if its in the ocean like you said, the shark would win.
Open scene: salty crock floating on the surace with its beady little eyes above the water searching..for something.
Cut to underwater view: Great white comes speeding up verticaly from 40 ft down at 25kts hitting the croc right in the belly and catapulting both of them halfway out of the water nearly ripping the croc in half. Shark + 1 / Croc - 0
thats how sharks hunt seals and they come completely out of the water when they do it(with a tasty seal in thier mouth). discovery channel owns |

the shark would pwn the croc, that armored skin simply cannot hold up to the crushing power of he shark.
great whites can also hit like 3+ tons i think extremely large crocs might hit 1.5 tons. |
