Traffic Lead sound.

What do you guys reckon is the best VST/VSti to use to create the sound from Tiesto - Traffic (main lead.)

And im sure i dont need to post a sample.


All help appreciated.

the sound your trying to achieve is made somewhat easily on a roland JP 8080/ 8000 synths. its a nice supersaw lead. of course he is using chords on that to make it sound more fuller

yes I agree.. this such sound can be emulated easily on a VSTi called Superwave P8 (freeware) - create a Detuned supersaw with a long sustain and a short release... and yes, he is using chords..

Maybe this is another pointless rant but here goes anyways:

Why do people always want to recreate the sounds of other people? Wouldn't it be more satisfying to come up with something of (and on) your own?

very true.. I try to stay away from the supersaw in a chord sound at least sine it's by far the most over used..

stupid tiesto and his unoriginal ways.. why do people listen to that garbage..

Can see where you're coming from, but for some producers, i.e me, we like to recreate sounds.

Its even part of my BTEC course.
