Review: Desyn Masielo @ System Soundbar

| Man oh man. I was back and forth all night inbetween the two rooms, but what i caught from Desyn's set was INCREDIBLE. Just the the grimiest music ive heard in a long time. At some points, the people around me were just screamin in reaction to the amazing tracks he was dropping one after the other. I just couldnt believe what i was hearing. Bongos, electro sounds, dark and dirty basslines.....just had the whole place jumpin. Cant wait til he comes back again. So good, that he made me forget Luke was even in the building. |

Wow.. i must have been in the strangest mood 'cause I am usually into house/deep house (and all the cool new stuff luke and desyn are playing) but that night I could NOT stay in the main room (maybe it needed more lights...i dunno :P ). But it was too 125-bpm for me that night.
But to clarify, I looooooove house (and yes, I own a copy of In House We Trust 3 which, stupid me, should have brought in with me so they could sign it)
Ahh well -- next time i guess; after all, Luke calls System home right? :) |

i must agree! he was here saturday night and no one knew about him!
let me tell you that I really loved the stuff he dropped... dirty and banging!
I think he'll be back.

| I kept wondering into the main room from time to time and he was pumping out some good tunes. I wasn't really in the dancing mood that night but I had an awesome time just chillin and enjoying Desyn's set. |

My sentiment too. I left around when Desyn would have gone on, but Luke had things pitched way down. Yes, he was opening for Desyn I guess, and yes, I enjoyed a lot of the material (esp. the electro influenced stuff), but it just plodded away. |

Yeah, esp. in contrast to the techno playing in the VIP room...
'Tis a shame -- I probably should have given it a solid chance though 'cause by the sounds of it, it was nice and dirtehhhh.
If his Saturday set was anything at all like his Friday's set then I really can't wait to hear what Ahlamalek has recorded :) |
