So it looks like Arnold is trying to get the constitution changed so he can run for the Presidency. Good thing that it takes eons for an amendment to actually pass and be ratified :D

Hey! Stop crushing my hopes and dreams.:whip:

Arnold's bid to ammend the constitution will make the dreams of Evil Zionist Occupiers like me finally come true when we are able to run and take over the white house! Finally ZOG will become a reality not just a fantasy, and us Jews will finally rule the world as one.

Of course if you don't ammend the constitution, I'll just have to work my way up to the head of the US military and seize power the Latin American way;)

It's your call

First off, I agree with the Constitution as it stands right now. One interesting thing to note, however. The clause almost caught John McCain when he was running for President. He was born on a US base in Panama, and it took a few legal opinions to fully determine that he would be able to run.

Damn, it would be so great if Arnold's initiative passes. Having him as the president of the US would be totally cool and awesome! If that happens, I'm moving to the states right away!

Well if he truly is a social liberal, why is he supporting Bush?

I guess he's obligated to.

Who knows, he might be an ok Pres. I'm still waiting to see what his record as Governator will be like first before I'd vote for him. But, if he brought the Republicans back to a more moderate keel, then that would be a very good thing.

As someone who is foreign born I agree with the current U.S. constitutional statute that states only U.S. citizens by birthright can run for president of its nation. Don't see why someone who wasn't born in the U.S. should be its president in the first place. Granted that someone would have to be a citizen for over two decades I believe if the constitution was to change to allow foreigners to run for president, I do not think that the current format should be changed to accomodate this. Then yet again I sometimes get the impression that I have a stronger appreciation for America and what it means more than some born Americans being that I know what it is like to live in a third world nation and take nothing for granted in America, so who knows.

well he wouldn't be the first actor to become President of the United States. R. Reagan was before him...so sad now that he doesn't remember anything ( oh....like he ever did!! :stongue: )

Now that I think about it, I think the Arnold presidency was preticted in the movie "Demolition Man" with Slyvester Stallone :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
