| anyone care to tell me what they think about this club? my brother got offered to spin there and i was wondering what it was like, i.e. age requirement, atmosphere, type of music played. he told me he could get me in b/c dj's get a vip list of 5 plus a girl |

It's still pretty much the "place to be seen" if you're in the hollywood scene.
They spin hip-hop most nights.
The food there is passible. Eating dinner there and staying early is pretty much the only way to get in at night. Otherwise, you'd better be on the list, or with a bunch of trashy, slutty looking girls. Eh. Definately upscale dress too.
I mean, if he's getting paid, and he knows what type of tunes to drop, then it's fine. You'll probably go once or twice, and then get tired of it. |

White Lotus is a good club if u like hip hop, and the trendy "dress to impress" scene. People go there dressing like they are in an MTV music video.
I, persoanlly, wouldn't go to White Lotus... even if I was bored out of my mind! :) |

I was at White Lotus this Sat. because a friend came from DC and wanted to relive her party days in LA. The food was ok, the music was crappy - overplayed hip hop, and the crowd was the typical "trendy" scene.
I got so fed up with it, that @ 1:00 am I just bolted out of there and went to Spundae and had a great time... too bad my friend won't return my calls now :) |
