Okay, here we go.
I have had to say this to a few people lately, which is strange, but try to make changes every 32 beats (8 bars). If you do them at random intervals, it throws off the ryhtem. The intro had a few random timing changes.
Kick and bassline is okay, I can feel the groove in the track. Vocals sound nice. Your main lead is a bit weak, could use some pumin up.
The piano'ish sound is nice, I'm quite fond of that, I've used quite similar sounds before myself.
So yeah, in general, try beefing up your leads. |

Thanks for the tips!
I never thought about this 32 / 16 beats thing... Do you think this only applies for percussion drums or for changes in general including the chordchages in the leadlines?
Beefing up the leads.. You mean things as layering, increased volume more catchy melody i think?

For percussion.
Lead needs to be stronger. I can't tell you how to make it stronger without knowing exactly what you did to get it there in the first place. Some unison wouldn't hurt if you have't already. |
