Really like the beginning of this clip, that bass sound is sweet. The higher frequency sound that comes in a bit later is okay, but I would love to hear it "ping" a little more if you know what i mean, try and get the filter to pluck it a bit.
First time I listened to it, I thought the EQ could do with a slight 1-1.5dB boost up high but it seemed okay when I listened to it a second time. Melody is quite nice, lead is okay but a little bit soft for my liking.
Overall, nice work. |

| I really like the bass/drums and how much energy the song has. The melody (lead) is a little weak and needs work. the arp likewise needs to be a little more beefy. Maybe add some delay and more reverb to the arp. Make the track bang in a little harder after the break. The melody is excellent. Need more compression on the drums. Need more background sound effects. |

ill get work on beefing up certain sounds, but exactly which drums require more compression?
i bring up my percussion extras and ill be left with a big mix mess... keep in mind in music not everything has to be screaming loud ;) |
