Sound Card Suggestion

| Alright I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question but I need some advice so...I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz which I absolutely love to death. However, I think the right channel might be getting ed on it so I'm looking to buy another card. I'll keep the Santa Cruz for recording and such, but I need a cheap no-frills but dependable 5.1 PCI card with an optical output. Also, I'd like it to be from a reputable company but I don't really want to spend more than $100. If anyone can make any suggestions that would be great, Thanks! |

| I'd look at the m-audio series, they are highly regarded. Not sure of price, but I'd take a peek at em. |

| Are all the m-audio sound cards good? (maybe comparing to a audigy 2) |

dont go sound blaster.. only basement producers/djs use sound blaster cards.. go M-Audio or EMU.. M-Audio Audiophile 2496 is good and for $150 it's quality can't be matched.. |
