quick question about the loveparade

does anyone know the name of the street it travels down? Or at least, the name of that long long street/square where you see all those infamous pics with the millions of people crammed together :D

| LP usually starts from "Ernst-Reuter-Platz" and "Brandenburger Tor" moving along "Straße des 17.Juni" towards the "Siegessäule" |

i've always wanted to fly to germany for the loveparade...and maybe visit my ex :D ...if she still remembers me :disbelief
i heard over 300,000 ppl from all over the world travel to the LP i think from their website. must be quite a party :wtf: |

wow...that's amazing...i also heard they have sex on the streets thereat during the LP, is that true? :D
also i recall reading on the website that LP 2004 may possibly not occur because of financial situations or something...i hope this is not true for i surely plan to go there one year if im still alive & kicking :whip: :D |

not true. they had sex on the trucks, but that's not allowed anymore.
you can still have sex in the park.
in 2000 a porn movie was shot in the park. It's somewhere in my Loveparade archive :D

Berlin has a debt of 50 billion dollars. Loveparade brings 150 million dollars of income. Berlin needs the Loveparade for goodwill as well. Loveparade will always be there, although it's getting worse (read commercial/no real ravers anymore/too many rules) every year.
Loveparade is fun because of the tons of parties on Friday and Saturday night. And to watch boobs when the weather is good ;) |

that's sucks that it's getting more commercial...i remember espying an advertisement or something of the sort for Legally Blonde 2 on the website relating to LP?! don't think it was a pop-up either :conf:
in any case, i shan't be discouraged to go there no matter what happens and im sure it's still a euphoric trance party

Actually, 50% is techno, 30% is house and 20% is techno (when you look at the line-up of both the trucks and the ending party)
The warm-up and after parties are amazing. I recommend Love from Above (PvD) on Friday and Love Base on Saturday. Love Base is a bit cheezy but the admosphere, people and location will blow you away
Love from Above is a bit crowded until 02:00hr, but very tasty (soundsystem is really loud) |
