| How can I tell which operating system my PC has? Like is there a test for it online just like how people use it to find their bandwidth or IP? I'm not sure whether I have Windows 98 or 98 SE. |

to quell your sarcastic skepticism, i have to imagine that one who doesn't know their OS likely bought their PC at a retail outlet ;) |

ur browser should show it also.
or u could just use sysinfo :) |

start menu - run.
type in command then hit enter
then type in ver and hit enter
it will display what version it is
type in exit to close down the black box/window |

My PC was bought directly from Dell, and I actually was never told by my dad (who bought it) whether it is Windows 98 or Windows 98SE. Turns out it is SE.
