Almost completely went by me, or rather Shrove Tuesday
are these sorts of religious events / holidays Christmas easter etc dwindling into insignificance? they really mean very little to me other than food and friendship. |

i want to make pancakes. altho chris and i are planning to have a waffle day with whipped cream, ice cream, fresh strawberries and the works...hehe.

People used up all the flour and lard that was forbidden during lent, hence pancakes |

Had lots with yummy golden syrup. Infact, I was folding them up into small chunks and dipping them in the golden syrup pot like I do every year :) Felt well ill afterwards  |
