Would be cool to meet some more TA's. Unfortunatly i may not be there till later than 11 (some broad street bozing in order, especailly Bar Risa, love that place), but i hope to see you guys around, i may recognise coup and mike from pics.
If i dont see you have a good time...
Oh one more question, becuase i will be late i have order advanced tickets (ing booking fee:whip: ), does this ticket allow queue jump? |
I don't think you'll have too much of a prob with queueing if you're gonna be late. I don't think tomorrows gonna be too packed so not expecting a queue. They're pretty quick on the door.
Any TAs see big ugly t**t with a red 76 on breast of a white top with Armins sig above it, introduce yourselves please.
11pm by the smoke machine??????? i'll be there. |

Rarrrr!!! Not being particulary keen on prog, I went with an open mind for Markus and he completely blew me away (Although I was praying for him to drop his recon. of a break in the clouds but at the end of the day it just weren't gonna happen was it. lol) Mixing was as tight as anything, and it was pretty much just tune after tune after tune! And incase your reading, it was nice to meet you mate. I hope you come back to the UK soon :)
Altho Coup will argue me on this, I thought Armin was also pretty shatpank to! Everytime i've seen him since GC black & white party in 2002, he has been everytime, but last night although his set was random as anything I well enjoyed it! For a moment I thought he was gonna start whipping out some techno at the rate his set was going which would well and truly have made my night, but the tech-trance suited me just fine :toothless Jon's warmup was sooo proggy but he still cunningly slipped in a few great tunes which kept me happy :)
So after not really expecting anything out of this night, I came away having had a quality night of tunage! And now I can't wait to tune in to GDJB on Monday and hear it all again :D
Oh and Dave I didn't realise you were going until I just randomly bumped into you :stongue: Nice to cya again, and josh to!
G' Nite all! :) |

Hey mikey, good to see you again, and ole coupey.
Markus played a really nice set i thought, his remix of lady blue is sweet (first time ive heard it), not too sure about the vocal mix of clear blue... for some reason it reminds me of the DB boulevard tune :nervous:
Armin was enjoyable, but i missed the last hour cos i had to drive home!

Brilliant Night!
Missed John, but Markus was great, not as proggy as I was expecting in places. I'm sure he played Satellite.
As did Armin actually, allough stand out tune was Veracocha - Carte Blanche, a real treat, as was Sarah McLachlan - Fallen (Gabriel & Dresden Remix). I agree with Mikey, it sounded like he was heading for techno, coz after/around introspection it all got a little techy.
Stayed right to the end fortunatly, Lange was fine for about 20mins after taking over from Armin, then i sorta lost interest and went to the top room to chill for half an hour. Then as I went back about 5am, it seemed Lange noticed the queue for the cloakroom was buildiing and started getting every1's interest again with some killer tunes.
Awsome night, roll on PvD! |

woo. markus was ing mint. his mixes were all flawless, and so good u didnt even notice them. tracks, he had that intresting element to his prog that he plays in GDJB which i enjoyed, he did held back from going full on because armin was on before. so he played a GDJB set with a few more up tempo tunes. He said to me after he felt the crowd was ready for full on trance but he didnt want to because he wanted to line armin up.
and armin, what a load of wank. the most random bunch of tunes ive ever heard. switching between carte blance and techy fergie style thing, utter rubbish. never heard anything like it in my life.
Lange, only heard an hour because we were all nackered, but very impressed. good mixing, good driving uplifting tunes.
Tune of the night Oceanlab - Satellite (Markus Schulz Remix) and Fallen (G&D Remix)
cotters, what happened? we waited for you.. |
